Call for abstracts

SUBMISSION DEADLINES: The deadline for sending the abstracts is May 31st.

All those intending to participate in the EWIP are invited to submit a paper either as an oral contribution or as a poster online.

Abstracts must be submitted via the web in conjunction with the registration process.

Abstract should be typed single-spaced in 12 pt Times New Roman, covering less than one page DIN A 4 (29,7 cm height, 21 cm width). Margins should be set to 4 cm at the top and the bottom and to 2.5 cm to right and left side. 1st paragraph empty. 2nd paragraph Title of the paper (bold face). 3rd paragraph Main author, initials, address, e-mail address, co-author(s) in the same format. 4th and 5th paragraph empty. 6th paragraph contents of the abstract. DO NOT include any graphics or tabular material in the body of your abstract. Please have a look at the sample abstract (pdf download 51 KB). No revision or corrections will be made by the editorial team.

After successful transmission you will receive a confirmation of receipt. In case you should not have received this confirmation after two weeks please contact us by e-mail (secretariat@ewip.org). Presenting Authors should indicate their preferred presentation type, talk or poster. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to assign them to oral or poster contribution.

The organizers will publish hardcopies of abstracts along with the program, which will be available at the time of the workshop. Abstracts will published on “The Journal of Insect Science” (http://insectscience.org).
